Day 1: Welcome to Sabah. As you arrive at BKI Airport our local representative will greet you and take you to your hotel. The day is free for you to explore the city on your own. Day 2:After a early buffet breakfast, we take you for a city tour of Kota Kinabalu, the state capital of Sabah – popularly called the ‘Land below the wind’. From Signal Hill, enjoy a bird&39s eye view of Kota Kinabalu. We proceed to Sabah Foundation building – one of the few hanging structure in the world. We stop at the Buddhist Temple and then visit the Sabah State Museum, which displays artefacts from Sabah&39s past and modern works of art. We drive past the state mosque and proceed to Tanjung Aru to see the imposing sites of long sandy beach. The rest of the day is free. Later, enjoy a veg / non-veg dinner. Day 3: After a early buffet breakfast, our representative takes you to the jetty to board the boat to Gaya Island, the largest among the sun-spoilt islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. Long-tailed macaques, pied hornbills, wild boar, and monitor lizards can be sighted here. We take a fascinating trek through this unspoilt tropical rainforest on a raised wooden planked walkway. We then proceed by boat to Sapi Island. You may enjoy a swim or go snorkelling in the crystal clear waters. Later we return to hotel. Enjoy a veg / non-veg dinner . Overnight at Hotel Promenade or similar in Kota Kinabalu. Day 4:After a buffet breakfast, day is kept free to explore the city on your own. Or take this opportunity to see the famous Mt. Kota Kinabalu – Malaysia&39 first World Heritage. We first drive to Poring Hot Springs, where a Park Ranger will take you on a guided canopy walk. Stroll amidst the treetops of the Menggaris Tree and admire the view of the rain forest. Lucky ones may see the world&39s biggest flower – Rafflesia, which takes 15 months to bud and lasts only for 7 days in bloom. Soak away your aches in the hot sulphuric minerals of this springs. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Later, we proceed to Kinabalu Park, located at the base of Mount Kinabalu. At 4095.2 m above sea level, it is the highest mountain in South East Asia. Kinabalu Park is a favourite site for nature lovers from around the world. Its foothills and surroundings have an incredible diversity of flora and fauna. Visit the Exhibition Centre and Mountain Garden and learn more on the natural wonders of the park. On your way back to the hotel, we stop at Nabalu Native Market where you can buy native handicraft items. Enjoy a veg / non-veg dinner. Overnight at Hotel Promenade or similar in Kota Kinabalu. Day 5: After a buffet breakfast, we drive to the Airport for our flight to Kuala Lumpur. Our representative will greet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. The evening is free for shopping.
