Hike in User Development fee (UDF) at Delhi, India
As per order no. 03/2012-13 of Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) of India, dated 20.4.2012,
issued on 24.4.2012 and published in newpaper on 27.4.2012, every ticket issued having date of travel after 14.5.2012
shall have burden of User Development Fee (UDF)which shall be payable for arrival and departure at Airport of Delhi as under:


Akshay Kumar Brand Ambassador of Canada Tourism -

Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) has roped in Bollywood star, Akshay Kumar to promote Canada as a premier four season destination in India. He is expected to serve as ambassador until the summer of 2012. As part of his new role he will make several promotional appearances in both India and Canada as well as "familiarization" trips across Canada to be reported and extensively documented by the media. No word yet on how long it will take the "Singh Kinng" to teach the entire country to Bhangra!
Mughal Gardens @ Rashtrapati Bhavan Gardens now open for Public Viewing from 15 Feb till 16 March, 2011.

The Rashtrapati Bhavan (Sanskrit for Presidential House/Palace) or The Official Residence of the Head of the State is the official residence of the President of India, located at Raisina hill in New Delhi, India. Until 1950 it was known as "Viceroy's House" and served as the residence of the Viceroy of India. It is at the heart of an area known as Lutyens' Delhi. It is the largest residence of any Head of the State in the world.The construction of the building was intervened by the World War I and eventually took 19 years to complete from planned 4 years, and its first occupant, Lord Irwin, moved in on Jan. 23, 1931. It is the current residence of President of India, H.E. Mrs. Pratibha Patil.
The Mughal Gardens situated at the back of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, incorporates both Mughal and English landscaping styles. It displays numerous types of flowers and is open to public in February every year.

Air India proposes 50 per cent off during the Cricket World Cup
Air India on Thursday announced a 'cricket special promotional scheme' under which those flying Air India between February 15 and April 5 can avail 50 per cent discount on economy class tickets and on easy fare tickets.
The special offer is for the young and the elderly only. Passengers below the age of 30 years and those above 63 years of age, on the date of commencement of journey, would be eligible to avail this cricket special promotional offer.
An Air India official said: "Fifty per cent discount would be available on the basic one way normal Economy Class fares and Easy fares on our domestic network." However, those buying tickets under this scheme would have to pay other charges like fuel charge, passenger service fee and user development fee.
The coming World Cup promises a lot of action on the field as well as outside the field. A lot of discount offers, promotional schemes and freebies are sure to mesmerize cricket fans who’s will travel across the continent to watch the ICC World Cup 2011.
ICC World Cup Cricket 2011, which is jointly being organised by India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will begin from February 19 at Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. Mega final of the biggest cricket event is scheduled to be played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 2.
